Raymond to Mills

Project included design of new storm sewer in the general area of S. Raymond Street to the outlet of the system at Saville Street. The project included the design of both enclosed and open channel systems, including HDPE pipe, reinforced concrete boxes, and a gabion lined channel in the backyards of the houses between S. Savage Street and Saville street. The project also included realignment of sanitary sewer main and associated lateral transfers. The project included approximately 1,259 linear feet of 15” to 48” HDPE storm sewer, 137 linear feet of reinforced concrete box culvert, 188 cubic yards of gabion basket, 144 linear feet of 12” pvc sanitary sewer main, 340 linear feet of sanitary lateral modification, and all related topographic survey, boundary survey, easement preparation, grading, energy dissipation, and riprap design. RIC assisted the City in developing a successful submission for ARPA grant funding for construction of the project. The project was completed in the spring of 2025.
